Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival at Hyderabad

The South India with extension tour to Goa is an accretion of the best tourist places in South India.  Under this tour package guests will be planned to arrive first at Hyderabad Airport where our representative will receive them with a carefully constructed Hyderabad tour package.  Guests will be accommodated in a hotel for an overnight stay and thereafter they will proceed for half day sightseeing tour of the city.  The city tour will include a visit to the famous places such as Charminar- the main landmark of the city followed by visit to the famous Salarjung Museum and an evening shopping arcade to the local bazaars.

Day 02: At Hyderabad

At Hyderabad the day will begin with a sumptuous meal served at the hotel which will be followed by a sightseeing tour of the city.  The tour of the ‘City of Nawabs’ will include visit to the splendid palaces and forts of the erstwhile kings and other magnificent monuments.  On this day guests will proceed for a visit to Golconda Fort one of the best fortress complexes in the country.  This extensive tour to the Golconda Fort will be concluded with a visit back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 03: Hyderabad- Bidar- Gulbarga

This day of your South India tour will begin with a morning meal followed by a trip to Gulbarga.  The journey to Gulbarga will be an illustrious one as guests also will be provided an en- route visit to Bidar.  At Bidar guests will explore the exotic locations of the place including a visit to the fifteenth century fort which consists of Ranjeen Mahal, Chini Mahal and Turkish Mahal palaces.  Guests then will resume the journey to Gulbarga where escorted by our representative they will check- into a hotel for overnight stay.  The rest of the day at Gulbarga will be marked for a visit to Gulbarga’s old fort followed by visit to tombs of Bahmani Kings, a shrine to a Muslim saints and the Sharana Basaveshwara Temple.  Later guests will return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 04: Gulbarga- Bijapur

This day of your South India with extension tour to Goa will be marked for a morning trip to next destination- Bijapur.  At Bijapur guests will be transferred to a hotel for an overnight stay which will be followed by a sightseeing tour of the city.  The city well known as the Agra of South India contains various places for sightseeing places therefore the city tour will begin with a visit to the Gol Gumbaz, the mausoleum of Mohammed Adil Shah.  The tour will then include visit to Ibrahim Roza and Jama Masjid then retire to the hotel for overnight.

Day 05: Bijapur- Pattadakal- Aihole- Badami

On this day guests will begin the journey with delectable meal served at hotel which will be followed by drive to Badami.  The trip to Badami will be a very eventful journey as guests will stop at two places en- route for a sightseeing tour such as Pattadkal to visit the cluster of temples.  At Pattadkal visit the famous Viruprakasha Temple followed by a visit to the Mallikarjuna Temples.  Guests then will revive the journey and then will reach Aihole for a visit to the famous temples of the town all dedicated to lord Vishnu.  At Badami guests will be accommodated in a hotel booked previously for an overnight stay in the city well known for its pictorial cave temples.

Day 06: Badami- Hubli

At Badami the day will begin with a sightseeing excursion to the Cave Temples.  These exquisite cave temples at Badami are dedicated to lord Vishnu and Shiva which were cut into the hillside in the early 6th century.  This trip will be followed by a visit to the Bhootha Natha temples these temples has a unique character of lending their names to the lake just beneath the cave temples.  Later guests will be transferred to Hubli where they will be accommodated in a hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 07: Hubli- Goa

The seventh day of your South India with extension tour to Goa will begin with a voyage to Goa in the morning.  At Goa guests will check into a hotel for an overnight stay and the rest of the day will be free for relaxation or enjoying a casual walk at the beauteous beaches of Goa.

Day 08: At Goa

The city famous for its pristine beaches, exquisite churches and lush green environs offers several options for a sightseeing tour.  Your Goa tour first will include a visit to the Santa Cruz Cathedral this Roman Catholic Church is a stunning edifice built in 16th century.  The visit to the church will be followed by drive back to hotel and the rest of the day will be free for independent activities or enjoying a peaceful walk on the beach.

Day 09: At Goa

This day will begin with a sumptuous meal at the hotel and the rest of the day will be marked for a sightseeing tour of the Old Goa.  The tour will include the visit to the ensemble of monasteries, chapels and St. Francis Xavier.  The afternoon will be marked for a visit to the Anjuna Flea Market later return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 10: Goa- Mumbai

The morning of the final day of your South India with extension tour to Goa will be free for enjoying independent activities.  At afternoon guests will be transferred to airport from where they will board the flight to Mumbai.  At Mumbai our representative will make all the arrangements while guests will board the next flight from the Airport for their onward journey back home.
